(Editor's Note: Additional information for those who wish to objectively clear
the air over Commissioner McKay's claim to have a degree in business
administration from the University of Maryland, and have more information.

Facts:
- As far back as March 12, 2003, Commissioner McKay's biography on the St.
Mary's County Web Site made no reference to a Bachelor's Degree earned by
him.

McKay's biography on the St. Mary's County Web Site was modified to add a
reference to him earning Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
- As recently as October 23, 2006 (and possibly later), Commissioner
McKay's biography on the St. Mary's County Web Site contained a reference to
him earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
- As of October 26, 2006 (the date of compilation of these screenshots),
Commissioner McKay's biography on the St. Mary's County Web Site no longer
contains a reference to him earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business
Administration.
- As recently as August 10, 2006 (and possibly later), Mr. McKay's

reference to him earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
- As of October 26, 2006 (the date of compilation of these screenshots),

Questions:
- If Commissioner McKay received a Bachelor's Degree in Business
Administration, why wasn't this information included in the original
biography that appeared on the St. Mary's County Web Site in March of 2003,
shortly after Commissioner McKay took office.
- Who directed and/or authorized the change to Commissioner McKay's
biography on the St. Mary's County Web Site that occurred sometime between
August 11, 2004 and February 10, 2005, that added the reference to him
receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration?
- Why was the reference to the Bachelor's Degree removed, sometime between
October 23, 2006 and October 26, 2006, from Commissioner McKay's biography
on the St. Mary's County Web Site? Was this statement in error? Did
Commissioner not receive a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration? If
not,
- Why did Commissioner McKay knowingly include, on his Official Thomas F.
McKay for Senator Web Site, the exact same biography that existed on the St.
Mary's County Web Site, that made reference to him receiving a Bachelor's
Degree in Business Administration.
- Did Commissioner McKay commit an ethical or legal violation by knowingly
including inaccurate biographical information on his campaign material,
which is paid for from monetary contributions made to him during his
campaign to become a Senator to the Maryland General Assembly.
- If a teacher, doctor, or lawyer made false claims about his/her
educational experience in order to gain employment, and it was later found
out that he/she had not received the degree that was claimed, wouldn't
he/she be summarily fired?
- Should the voters of St. Mary's County trust someone who makes false
claims about his educational experience?
- Should the liar be given the opportunity to represent the citizens of
St. Mary's County in the Maryland General Assembly?
