Open Vehicle Theft
PRINCE FREDERICK -- Calvert County Sheriff’s Office reports that three victims on Woodview Lane in Prince Frederick reported to Dep. T. Tilley that their vehicles had been broken into and over $800.00 worth of property had been removed. The thefts occurred between April 12 at 7:00 p.m. and April 13 at 7:00 a.m. None of the vehicles had been locked. Dep. Tilley will continue the investigation.

Theft of a Purse
DUNKIRK -- Calvert County Sheriff Deputy Dfc. Richard Figueiras responded to a theft complaint on Stevens Lane in Dunkirk on April 13. The victim stated that sometime between 10:30 p.m. the night before and 5:30 that morning, someone had broken the window out of her car and stolen her purse. Figueiras will continue to investigate.

Burglary at Country Club
LA PLATA -- On April 14 at 6:15 a.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Hawthorne Country Club, located at 8760 Hawthorne Road in La Plata, for the report of a burglary. Investigation revealed suspect(s) used a metal object, possibly a screwdriver, to force entry into a lower-level double-entry door. Once inside, the suspect(s) forced open doors to the Pro Shop, the business office and Pamela’s Restaurant and stole money from those locations. The suspect(s) also severed phone lines and stole a DVR security system. The burglary was discovered by an employee. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-932-2222. Officer R. Herbert is investigating.
Suspects Damage Garage
WALDORF -- Sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. April 11, suspect(s) damaged the garage of a residence in the 5100 block of Shawe Place in Waldorf. The suspect(s) used unknown means to bend the top panel of the garage inward, causing more than $500 in damage. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-932-7777. Officer D. Snyder is investigating.
Hallowing Burglary
PRINCE FREDERICK -- Maryland State Police from ‘U’ Barracks report between 4-10 and 4-14, an unknown culprit forcibly entered a residence on Hallowing Pt. Rd., Prince Frederick, and removed an undisclosed amount of coins. TPR Mounts, CIT, is handling the investigation.
Motor Vehicle Theft
PRINCE FREDERICK -- Maryland State Police from ‘U’ Barracks report during the overnight hours of 4-15, an unknown culprit attempted to steal a vehicle parked at Calvert Memorial Hospital. TPR Bigham is handling the investigation.
Beach Burglary
PRINCE FREDERICK -- Maryland State Police from ‘U’ Barracks report on 4-17, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, an unknown culprit entered a residence on 3rd St., Chesapeake Beach, and removed an Xbox 360 and two games. TPR Tillett is handling the investigation.
