Church Vandalized
OWINGS --- On April 7th, 2004 at 11:00am, Calvert Sheriff's Sgt Bowen responded to the Jesus of Good Shepard Church located at 1601 W. Mt. Harmony Rd. Owings, Md. for a reported Destruction of Property/Theft. Investigation revealed unknown person(s) destroyed a marble statue at the entrance to the church. The statue was affixed to a pedestal by bolts. Sgt. Bowen observed parts of the statue, which had been broken off but was not able to locate the bulk of the statue.
