RECOVER MISSING BOATERS BODY
ANNAPOLIS,
MD Natural
Resources Police (NRP) today recovered the body of Roger B. Madden, age 42, of
Pasadena. A passing boater reported seeing the body approximately 1.5 miles north of the
Chesapeake Bay Bridge on the Chesapeake Bay. Recovery and positive identification of the
individual was made at approximately noon. Next of kin notification was made. The body was
taken to the State Medical Examiners Office in Baltimore for autopsy.
NRP had been conducting daily surface searches for Maddens body since he was missing after a boating accident on Feb. 29. Madden and Edwin J. Mosmiller, Jr., age 52 of Pasadena were traveling at a suspected high rate of speed in a 40-foot long high performance race boat when the vessel flipped and broke apart. Mosmillers body was found shortly after the accident.
