This armed robber hit the Lexington Park branch of Bank of America today. This bank at least has the angle of the camera available to show more than the top of the head of the bank robber, unlike most other banks.  Repeated armed robberies have led some bank branches, such as Maryland Bank & Trust to install locks which are activated to admit customers only upon the decision of the employees, which makes it safer for everyone.  That way hats, hoods and other gear designed to thwart cameras from getting a good photo are less likely to help the robber get into the bank.  But most banks fail to devote anywhere near the resources to cameras which provide safety for their customers as they do to executive bonuses.  Consumers can patronize banks which provide better security, such as Maryland Bank & Trust has done in Lexington Park.
