This patient was shot twice "in both sides." Lookout is for two men who fled in a black pickup with tinted windows in both incidents.  This is possibly going to end up being a Jeep Cherokee.
Man Found Shot Dead in Car Crashed into Tree  Is this a murder or a guy who commits suicide when slamming into a tree at DC line....Just before 11 p.m. (gray Chrysler) crashed into tree at 5335 Southern Avenue.  Person found inside shot dead.  May have more victims in the 'hood.   Appear to be all related.

Another Dead Pedestrian,
life is cheap on the mean streets of greater DC if you are walking.  DC police report that a man was struck at 4:30 p.m., 2800-blk Jasper St., SE and run over and trapped under a Ford Explorer.  He was dead at the scene but taken to hospital when family and bystanders became emotional. He was still just as dead at the hospital but the difference is that it makes it more difficult to now investigate the death with the body moved.  But life must be easier for the cops without the screaming hyenas blowing off. Of course, if a prosecution was called for, it now has a lesser chance of success.

Cell Hell for Montgomery Police

Unrelated to this incident, Mont. Co. PD have completed a door-to-door search, waking residents in the 13000-block of Dairymaid Dr near Mitz Ct in Germantown.  Police asked residents of the townhouse development to search their homes after receiving what appears to have been a
prank cellular call (or calls) before midnight Monday.

The caller, claiming to be a 14-year-old girl, said she had been
abducted on Sept. 14 and was being held against her will in this vicinity.  She later claimed she had also been stabbed by the suspect who was out front of the residence.   Police were unable to find a victim after checking several townhomes, and were attempting to work with the cellular company to provide a better location of where the call(s) originated.
Police left the area around 1:30 a.m. (Tuesday).

Third Pedestrian Fatal in One Day, Montgomery County Police have closed Connecticut Ave. at Weller Road to investigate. This was reported around 11:45 p.m. Monday.  Assuming it is indeed a pedestrian struck, it would be the third fatal pedestrian struck in the D.C. area Monday. The other two were in Fairfax County, 5200-blk Sully Road and 11200-blk Silentwood Lane which involved a trash truck and pedestrian struck.
