LEXINGTON PARK (Dec. 22, 2007) --
Stewart Miskmon, of Texas is shown under arrest at the A
& E Motel in Lexington Park with St. Mary's Deputy Shawn
Moses, left in green uniform and Lt. Dan Alioto,
commander of St. Mary's Sheriff's Narcotics team. Lt.
Alioto holds a bag with a brick of marijuana which
Miskmon was cutting off of and putting into plastic
bags. He also had black tar heroin in his
possession. Miskmon told police he is a regular
heroin user and last shot up in his leg.
Miskmon told ST. MARY'S TODAY that he arrived in
Lexington Park on Friday night and chose the A & E Motel
for no particular reason but had not really started
selling yet when the cops broke up his Christmas selling
plans. Miskmon was accompanied by his girlfriend
and was driving the gray pickup shown at left.
"This probably came from Mexico," said Miskmon, "but I
brought it up from Texas."
"This goes to show what can happen when you get the
right people in the right job," Sheriff Tim Cameron told
ST. MARY'S TODAY. "We have Lt. Alioto and his
detectives doing a great job and disrupting the
narcotics trafficking in a big way in this county, and
this is just the start. If the drug dealers don't
like it then they can either move or look forward to
being in jail. I commend our officers on doing a fine
job."

Miskmon is read his rights by St.
Mary's Deputy Shawn Moses while the brick of pot,
reportedly pretty good stuff, bringing an estimated
$2,500 per pound on the street and much more when broken
down into popular consumer baggies for local deadheads
to get stoned for the holidays, sits on the hood of his
soon to be confiscated truck. Miskmon said he hadn't
been in jail for about 3 years.
