Big Mac Attackers Brought Sawed Off Shotgun

CHESAPEAKE BEACH (March 4, 2009) --- Here we go again, when its dark and snowy and heathens have a hunger for food and booze, it triggers the primal instincts for a BIG MAC ATTACK!

This past Monday evening when the full force of winter's cold fury blew into this beach resort an armed robber decided to visit the Chesapeake Beach McDonalds Express and demanded some fast cash.

Police say that on 3/02/2009 at approximately 2156 hours a masked gunman entered the McDonald’s Express located at 7925 Bayside Rd., Chesapeake Beach, Calvert County, Maryland.  The business was occupied at the time by two employees who were ordered to enter the freezer.

The suspect is described as a black male, in his 30’s , 6’-6’02” tall, medium to thin build, demanded money from the store manager.  The suspect was carrying what appeared to be a sawed-off shotgun, left the scene on foot.  No one was injured during the robbery.  An unknown amount of currency was stolen.

An extensive search was conducted by the road-patrol and K-9 officers from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Police which ended in negative results.  Trooper 2 was also called in to assist with the search for the suspect.  This investigation is being continued by Det.
