Mac Attackers Brought Sawed
Off Shotgun
CHESAPEAKE
BEACH (March 4, 2009) ---
Here we go again, when its
dark and snowy and heathens
have a hunger for food and
booze, it triggers the
primal instincts for a BIG
MAC ATTACK!
This past
Monday evening when the full
force of winter's cold fury
blew into this beach resort
an armed robber decided to
visit the Chesapeake Beach
McDonalds Express and
demanded some fast cash.
Police say
that on 3/02/2009 at
approximately 2156 hours a
masked gunman entered the
McDonald’s Express located
at 7925 Bayside Rd.,
Chesapeake Beach, Calvert
County, Maryland. The
business was occupied at the
time by two employees who
were ordered to enter the
freezer.
The suspect is described as
a black male, in his 30’s ,
6’-6’02” tall, medium to
thin build, demanded money
from the store manager. The
suspect was carrying what
appeared to be a sawed-off
shotgun, left the scene on
foot. No one was injured
during the robbery. An
unknown amount of currency
was stolen.
An extensive
search was conducted by the
road-patrol and K-9 officers
from the Calvert County
Sheriff’s Office and the
Maryland State Police which
ended in negative results.
Trooper 2 was also called in
to assist with the search
for the suspect. This
investigation is being
continued by Det. Rich of
CIT.
