On Friday,
June 15,
2007, at
approximately
10:49 am,
police and
D.C. Fire
Department
emergency
medical
technicians
responded to
Home of the
Classic Cut
– Little’s
Beauty and
Barber Shop,
located at
1451 Howard
Road, SE,
where they
found the
owner of the
business
establishment
suffering
from an
apparent
gunshot
wound to the
body.
The victim,
identified
as
75-year-old
William
Jesse Little,
of the 1900
block of
Alabama
Avenue, SE,
was
transported
to Howard
University
Hospital
where he was
pronounced
dead at
11:08 am.
The case is
currently
under
investigation
by
detectives
assigned to
the
department’s
Violent
Crimes
Branch. The
preliminary
ongoing
investigation
indicates
that Mr.
Little was
killed as
the result
of a
possible
robbery.

offering a
reward of

to $25,000
for
information
that leads
to the
arrest and
conviction
of the

responsible

homicide
