Bohanan Calls Town Meetings

Throughout District 29-B

 

            Delegate John L. Bohanan, Jr. is inviting St. Mary’s County citizens to a series of town meetings throughout Legislative District 29B.  “I would like to discuss actions taken in the Special Session held in November and answer any questions you may have regarding actions taken by the General Assembly at that time.  In addition, with the regular session scheduled to begin on January 9, I hope residents will take this opportunity to talk about issues that are impacting on our communities, our region, and our state.  This will be the time for me to hear your thoughts and views on state programs, policies, and legislation,” Bohanan stated.

            All meetings will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be held on the following dates and locations:

            Thursday, January 17 – Ridge Firehouse

            Tuesday,  February 12  – Valley Lee Firehouse

            Tuesday, February 19 – Lexington Park Library

            Delegate Bohanan has been a member of the House of Delegates since 1999, representing southern St. Mary’s County.  He is a member of the Appropriations Committee and serves as House Chair of the Spending  Affordability Committee, the Commission to Develop the Maryland Model for Funding Higher Education and the St. Mary’s County Delegation.
