Bravo on Coffin Offer
To the Editor: We read your ad for the "free coffin" and we just wanted to say: "BRAVO". We had never heard of your newspaper before the ad hit the Internet. After looking through your newspaper online, we learned of your "DWI Campaign."
My husband is a coffin maker in Nevada.
We share a common sadness with others who have lost loved ones to DWI drivers. We lost both of my husbands' parents 9 years to a driver who was impaired. He of course walked away from the accident. They were killed instantly.
We work very closely with the "Every Fifteen Minutes"
Program here locally.
My husband is also a minister and we have a small church. We work with many teens in community things and our church, and the #1 message we focus on the "DWI Issue".
We think what you are doing is very commendable and we too
hope your coffin goes unused.
