Bums Rush at Homeless Shelter

LEXINGTON PARK --- St. Mary’s Sheriff’s DFC Cindy Allen reports that on October 16, 2009, Deputies responded to the Three Oaks Center in Lexington Park, Maryland for a report of a trespasser.  Investigation revealed Lavelle Bernard Miller, 27 of no fixed address was served with a notice not to trespass on the property of the Three Oaks Center on October 4, 2009.  Deputies contacted Miller, who was on the property in violation of the order not to trespass.  Miller was arrested for trespassing. 

Shopping Center Doesn’t Want Him

LEXINGTON PARK --- Police report that on October 16, 2009, Deputies responded to Millison Plaza in Lexington Park, Maryland for a report of a trespasser.  Investigation revealed Robert Francis Perry, 65 of Lexington Park, Maryland was served with a notice not to trespass on the property of Millison Plaza on October 15, 2009.  Deputies contacted Miller, who was on the property in violation of the order not to trespass.  Perry was arrested for trespassing. 

 

No Peace in his Time

MECHANICSVILLE --- Police say that on June 30, 2009 Zachary Matthew Williams, 20 of Mechanicsville, Maryland was served with a Peace Order ordering Williams to remain off the property belonging to the Respondent of the Peace Order.  The Peace Order is active until December 30, 2009.  On October 16, 2009, the Respondent contacted the St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Office and advised Williams was unlawful in her residence while she was out of town.  Deputies responded to the Respondent’s residence and located Williams inside.  Williams was arrested for violating the conditions of the Peace Order.

 

Justin and Dustin Deadhead Duo

CALIFORNIA --- Police say that on October 16, 2009, Detective W. Raddatz observed a suspicious vehicle parked at the entrance of the park along the Wildewood Parkway in California, Maryland.  The area is clearly marked the park is closed after dark.  Detective Raddatz pulled up behind the vehicle and contacted the occupants Justin Scott Lee Casavant, 18 of California, Maryland and Dustin Nicholas Reid, 18 of Hollywood, Maryland.  As Detective Raddatz was speaking with the Casavant and Reid, he detected an odor of burnt marijuana.  Further investigation revealed both Casavant and Reid were in possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) and controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia.  Casavant and Reid were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia.

Big Dogs Patron Had Screaming Yeemies, Belted Cop

MECHANICSVILLE ---- Police say that on October 17, 2009, Deputies responded to Big Dogs Paradise for a report of a disturbance.  Investigation revealed Thomas Lon Mayorga 25 of Mechanicsville, Maryland was involved in an altercation at the establishment.  As Deputies were attempting to investigation the incident Mayorga was yelling obscenities.  The patrons of the business were witnessing Mayorga’s disorderly conduct.  Deputies told Mayorga several times to stop cursing and acting disorderly.  Mayorga refused to cooperate.  Deputy Watters told Mayorga he was under arrest.  Mayorga resisted arrest and resisted striking Corporal Connelly.  Mayorga was subdued and handcuffed.  Mayorga was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and second-degree assault on a law enforcement officer.

 

No Tell Motel Didn’t Want Drunk Without Money

CHARLOTTE HALL --- Police say that on October 18 2009, Deputies responded to the Charlotte Hall Motel in Charlotte Hall, Maryland a report of a trespasser.  Investigation revealed Donald Kevin Wilson, 30 of Mechanicsville, Maryland got into a dispute with the hotel clerk over renting a room.  Wilson who appeared to be intoxicated, did not have sufficient funds to rent a room, and was asked to leave the hotel.  Wilson initially left the property but returned a short time later.  Wilson banged on the hotel lobby door insisting the clerk allow him in.  The hotel clerk called the Sheriff’s Office.  When Deputies arrived, they found Wilson sleeping in a vehicle parked in the hotel parking lot.  Further investigation revealed that Wilson did not own the vehicle nor had permission to be inside of the vehicle.  Wilson was arrested and charged with trespassing. 

 

No Party for this Wedding

LEXINGTON PARK --- On October 18, 2009 Deputies to Flower Drive in Lexington Park, Maryland.  Investigation revealed Amanda Renea Wedding, 23 of Lexington Park, Maryland was engaged in a verbal dispute with the victim, which escalated into a physical assault when Wedding struck the victim.  Wedding was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
