One Charged, Another Sought for Burglary

   LUSBY (May 30, 2007) - At 3:52 p.m. May 18, Trooper Donaldson of the Prince Frederick barrack was dispatched to a residence on White Sands Dr., Lusby, for a burglary complaint.

   Stolen property included clothing, money, DVDs, a handgun, video equipment, video games, and jewelry. Total property loss was estimated at $3,460.

   With the assistance of witnesses, suspects were developed. Arrested for 1st degree burglary, 2 counts of theft (+$500) and theft (-$500) was Victor Johnlee Scottland, 18, of Lusby.

   The handgun and some of the stolen property were recovered from his residence.

   A second suspect, a 14-year-old male, of Lusby, is being sought for questioning.

   After processing, Mr. Scottland was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioners hearing.
