Blaze that ripped through 3 trailers laid to woodstove

LEONARDTOWN (Dec. 31, 2008) Fire engulfs up to three mobile homes at Christmas Tree trailer park, on Bean Road, multiple fire companies are assisting Leonardtown with getting the fire under control....at just after 1:30 am on New Years Eve...first report of the cause of the fire was reported to a firefighter as being a woodstove.

Fire investigators are being summoned along with SMECO crews to secure the power.

Seventh District VFD was called out to man the Leonardtown firehouse on a fill-in with a pumper tanker in order to assure service in the event of another fire in that area.
