If a frying pan don't work, hit him with an ashtray!

GREAT MILLS (March 5, 2009)  It was far from a carefree day on Carefree Way in Great Mills on Tuesday when all hell broke loose.

Police report that on March 3, 2009 Deputies responded to a residence on Carefree Way in Great Mills, Maryland for report of an assault.  

Police report that their investigation revealed Joseph Louis Herbert Jr. 53 of Mechanicsville, Maryland, unlike his namesake the legendary boxer Joe Louis, who threw punches, was involved in a verbal dispute with the victim which escalated into a physical assault when Herbert struck the victim in the head with a frying pan. 

Herbert then threw a glass ashtray which struck the victim in the head and broke. 

Joseph Herbert Jr. was arrested and charged with first and second degree assault.
