Man Charged with Smoking Crack at Ballgame

GREAT MILLS --- On Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 4:33 pm, Michael Winfield Proctor, 49, of Lexington Park was arrested by Tpr. J. Pilkerton for possession of Cocaine and CDS paraphernalia.  Tpr. Pilkerton responded to the area of the Brass Rail ball field for the reported CDS activity.  Upon arrival, contact was made with Mr. Proctor on the bleachers.  During the course of the investigation, Mr. Proctor was found to be in possession of a glass CDS smoking device with Cocaine.  He was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.
