Man Washed Bills Right Out of Register at Carwash
cHARLOTTE HALL (Feb. 23, 2008) St. Mary's
Sheriff's Lt. Ricky Burris reports that on February 19, 2007,
St. Mary’s County BCI detectives arrested Robert Earl Thompson,
18 years of age, from Mechanicsville and charged him with one
count of Theft Over $500 and one count of Theft Under $500. The
charges were a result of an investigation into thefts which
occurred on January 19th and 20th, at the
Charlotte Hall Carwash. Detectives determined that while
employed at the carwash, Thompson had stolen money on both
occasions. He was incarcerated at the St. Mary’s County
Detention Center.
