The Mean Streets of Lexington Park
"I told you, it ain't my car and it ain't my gun!"
GREAT MILLS (July 28)--- This suspect
told St. Mary's deputies next to car he was likely operating when it
dropped off a front wheel as it wrecked on Great Mills Road at 2 am
Saturday, that he was just looking at the car which was wrecked and
had a gun in it. It says it wasn't his. Of course if it turns out to
be stolen, that would be a wise move. "You won't find my prints
inside," said the man. Only The Shadow knows for sure.

The man at center was found with a wrecked car on
Great Mills Road and a gun in the car. When St. Mary's Deputy
Harold Young, left, called in to headquarters that there was a 10-32
in the car, the man yelled out, "it ain't my gun". Deputy
Young then asked him how he knew what he was talking about and the
man answered, "I've had gun charges before, but it ain't my gun and
it ain't my car." The man wasn't happy at the prospect of new gun
charges. Sometimes cars work better with all four wheels on
them. The missing wheel was about 10 feet away after coming
off following some sort of impact. At right, is Deputy Robert
Russell. ST. MARY'S TODAY photos
