If a pit bull is bad, blame
the owner
To the Editor:
My adult son got a pit bull
puppy almost 3 years ago,
and I was horrified because
of the bad rap they had. It
didn't take long for me to
fall in love with "Sachmo"
who turned out to be the
best dog our family has
every had. He is friendly
and loves people and I trust
him more than I do our
family pet who is a
"Dalmatian" and has attacked
more dogs in the past 10
years then any dog I have
owned my entire life. He is
not a vicious dog, but he
hates other dogs. Our pit is
quite the opposite and
doesn't seem to care one way
or the other about stray
dogs.
If a pit bull is bad, blame
the owner, not the dog.
We need to raise awareness
about this wonderful breed
of dog. They are loyal,
loving, and very
intelligent. I would
definitely get another one
in the future.

Jail Any Dog
Fighter,
Including
the Famous
To the
Editor:
Any type of
dog fighting
is something
we cannot
tolerate in
America, and
if a famous
person does
get involved
and then
caught, well
so be it.
Put them in
jail just
the same. I
hope Mr.
Vick is
innocent but
if not I
will gladly
close his
cell door on
him and not
lose any
sleep.
If it were
true, I
would vote
GUILTY
.
