ST. INIGOES ---  St. Mary's Sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Steve Hall says that on Nov. 13th SDFC Handy responded to St. Inigoes, Maryland for the report of two men fighting pit bulls in yard. Upon arriving in the area of the complaint, SDFC Handy observed a black and white pit bull suffering from fresh lacerations and appeared to be in a great deal of pain. Contact was made with suspect, Joseph Tyrone Maddox 21, of St. Inigoes and suspect, Sydney Antwan Strain, 19, of Park Hall, Maryland. SDFC Handy’s investigation revealed these were the two men observed fighting the dogs earlier that day. Animal Control Officers were called to the scene and assisted in seizing the animals.
