Tall Crackhead with Knife Flees Safeway After Clerk


Tells Him Register Won't Open Without Purchase

PRINCE FREDERICK (Dec. 19, 2007) --- Detectives from the joint investigation team reports that on 12/17/2007 at approximately 2252 hours units from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Police Prince Frederick Barrack responded to an armed robbery at the Safeway Store located at 80 Dares Beach Rd West, Prince Frederick.  Upon arrival officers learned that a white male approximately 18-20 years old approached a cashier at a register lane and demanded money at knife point.  The cashier advised that they were unable to open the register and the suspect fled on foot from the establishment.  No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male, 18-20 years of age, thin built, approximately 6’ 2”- 6’ 4” with light brown – dirty blonde hair.  He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt, and light colored blue jeans.
