$4.6 million to tear up Great Mills Road
and where are the workers coming from?

LEXINGTON PARK (Nov.
18, 2009) --- This was the scene this week along Great Mills
Road as construction gets underway to build a fancy brick
median strip along the highway, while ignoring the other end
of Great Mills Road...the part with the daily backup at the
bottleneck...one local tradesman says that the work being
done on this highway as well as construction on the new
Kohl's and the Olive Garden on Rt. 235 in California is
being performed by out of state contractors employing out of
state workers and even questions if some of the workers are
legal.

At least he would have been if they still had the electric

Muhammad, the DC Sniper who is now having his lame carcass
hauled off in the back of a van for disposal and instead of
72 virgins, he had at least that many Virginians cheering
his demise after he killed a dozen people, at least, and
injured 3 others as he fired from a hidden position, mowing
down folks. One woman was cleaning her car, a man was
gassing up his car at a Virginia gas station, another was
cutting grass at a Rockville car dealership. One man
was waiting for a bus in Aspen Hill and a woman was sitting
on a bench in front of a lunch counter. A woman was
killed in front of a Home Depot in Fairfax. The fall of
2002, one year after the 2001 attack on America showed once
again the radical Muslim attacks could paralyze America.
Fire Marshal ran
light, hit jeep

(Nov. 11, 2009) ---
A Maryland State Fire Marshal ran a red light at RT. 765 and Rt.
760 in Lusby and slammed into a Jeep, causing injuries to
the driver of the Jeep. Here the state
car is shown perched on top of its own front bumper.
The driver of the Jeep was identified by Maryland State
Police Cpl. Eric White as Jason Armacost, of Lusby. The Fire
Marshal, who witnesses said caused the wreck was identified
as Sander Cohen of Germantown. Both drivers were taken
to a hospital for treatment of their injuries. No charges
have been placed as of Thursday, said Cpl. White.

Killer
in the News: 1991

Douglas Alan Kovak, left, as he was placed under arrested by
police for burglary in 1990. Right, under arrest for
the murder of Kovak on Oct. 2, 1991 was Michael Jerome
Young. Escorting Young from the St. Mary's Sheriff's
offices to the jail was Deputy Rusty Malone.
Kovak's family just recently learned of the fate of their
son by reading an
online article in ST.
MARY'S TODAY. Young was with fellow drug dealers in the wild
and wooly open air drug market at the old Hills Trailer Park
in Great Mills when Kovak, on the day after he was released
from jail on the burglary charge, arrived at the drug market
to buy crack cocaine. He was stabbed and taken by
ambulance to St. Mary's Hospital where he died. Young
pleaded guilty in 1993 and was sent to prison.
