Rice Burner Stolen from Ryce
GREAT MILLS --- On May 28, 2004, St. Mary's Sheriff's Dfc. Kevin Roberts responded
to a residence on Onion Field Lane in Great Mills for the report of a theft. Between
May 27th and 28th. 2004 a motorcycle was taken from the residence. The Motorcycle
owned by Robert Rice of Callaway, is described as a 2000 Suzuki GSX 1300R Off Road
Motorcycle and valued at $8,500. Investigation into the theft continues.
River Rats Back in Action
LEONARDTOWN --- St. Mary's Sheriff 's Cpl. Deborah Milam reports that
between May 22 and May 27, 2007, George Caroll reports a twenty five horsepower boat motor
taken from his garage. The estimated value of the motor is $1,500. Dep. Brian
Connelly is investigating the theft.
Deadhead Passenger?
May 17, 2004, Dfc. Elizabeth Trossbach stopped a vehicle for traffic violation on
Three Notch Rd in Oakville, MD. The vehicle operator was issued a warning for the
violation. The front seat passenger, Francis Aloysius Fenwick Jr. was the vehicle
owner. In the ashtray on the inside front passenger door was found a small plastic
baggy containing suspected marijuana. May 28th, 2004, Francis Aloysius Fenwick Jr.
was charged by Criminal Summons for Possession of Controlled Dangerous
Substance for the May 17th incident. Dfc. Trossbach released Francis Fenwick pending
his appearance in District Court.
