Alcohol and Speed End Man's Life With Crash into Tree

( CHARLOTTE HALL ) On March 27 at approximately 3:40 a.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to the 9100 block of Kentucky Avenue, in Charlotte Hall, for the report of a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival officers discovered a single vehicle crashed into a tree and the driver and sole occupant, Kevin Bradford Mathewson was pronounced dead at the scene. Speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the accident. The victim was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
