Another Untalented Teen Driver Causes Mayhem

SPRING RIDGE (Feb. 18, 2005) At about 7:30 am today another in a long line of
crashes caused by untalented teenage drivers took place on Rt. 235, a regular
path of death and destruction when a girl failed to yield the right of way. 
St. Mary's Sheriff's Deputies investigated a serious motor vehicle collision on
Route 235 at the intersection of Evergreen Park Road Lexington Park, Maryland.
A 17 year old female from Lexington Park, MD. was the driver of a 2003 Pontiac Grand-am that
failed to yield the right-of-way to a 1992 Chevrolet S-10 pick up truck,
driven by a 36 year old male from Dameron, Maryland. The Pontiac was
attempting to make a left hand turn from Evergreen Park road onto
Southbound Route 235 when it was struck by a  northbound 1992 pick up
truck. The driver of the Pontiac received life threatening injuries and
was flown to the University of Maryland Trauma Center in Baltimore,
Maryland by MSP Trooper-7. A 50 year old front seat passenger in the
Pontiac was also seriously injured and was flown to Prince Georges
Trauma center by MSP Trooper-4. along with the driver of the truck.  A
15 year old rear passenger in the Pontiac was not injured.
Investigation to continue by Sheriff's deputies Cpl. Mark C.Clark and
DFC Douglas Mills.
