Armed Home Invasion Robbery in Montgomery Hills
 

Yesterday at approximately 6:40 p.m., 3rd District officers responded to a residence in the 2000 block of Luzerne Avenue in the Montgomery Hills community of Silver Spring, for the report of a home invasion robbery which had just occurred.

The victim, a 55-year-old male resident observed the suspect at the front door. The victim opened the front door and noticed that the suspect had a handgun. The victim was ordered inside and the suspect demanded his wallet and car keys. The victim’s hands and feet were bound. The suspect then fled the scene in the victim’s 2004 Red Mazda RX8 with Maryland Registration LYP013.

The victim was not injured.

The suspect is described as a black male, in his 30’s, 5’8” tall, weighing 130 – 140 pounds, brown eyes, short brown hair with a mustache, wearing dark clothing.
