Arrests Made in Armed Robbery Case

At approximately 11:20 pm on Thursday, October 21, 2004, officers from the Fourth District responded to the 6600 block of 7th Place, NW to investigate the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered two adult females at that location suffering from apparent gunshot wounds that were reportedly inflicted during the course of an armed robbery. Both victims were transported to an area hospital and admitted in stable condition.

A subsequent investigation by members from the Fourth District led to the arrest of three suspects in conjunction with this case. Charged with Assault With Intent To Rob While Armed were two 17-year-old Southeast males and a 16-year-old Northwest male.

All three suspects are scheduled to be presented in DC Superior Court on October 22.

The names of the suspects are being withheld because they are juveniles. The names of the victims are also being withheld because they are witnesses in this case.
