To the Editor:
Although I was disturbed by the editorial cartoon depicting a driver
contemplating pre-meditated murder of a Hells Angel, I realize that
editorial comments are generally accepted as simply the biased opinion of
one person.
What I find more disturbing is that in your so-called
"news" section you have run an extremely derogatory, inflammatory, biased
description of individuals of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club (HAMC). This
is clearly far beyond the accepted bounds of "journalism".
If you are going to editorialize about the HAMC,
please keep it clearly stated as an editorial comment. If you are
portraying news or journalism, stick to the facts.
