Biker Bawls About Toon, Rag

To the Editor:

Although I was disturbed by the editorial cartoon depicting a driver contemplating pre-meditated murder of a Hells Angel, I realize that editorial comments are generally accepted as simply the biased opinion of one person.

What I find more disturbing is that in your so-called "news" section you have run an extremely derogatory, inflammatory, biased description of individuals of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club (HAMC).  This is clearly far beyond the accepted bounds of "journalism".

If you are going to editorialize about the HAMC, please keep it clearly stated as an editorial comment.  If you are portraying news or journalism, stick to the facts.

In the event you've lost touch with the true meaning of either category, here is a dictionary definition provided courtesy of www.dictionary.com
