Bimbo Eruption Led to Destruction
CALLAWAY --- On 5/4/04, at 7:34 a.m., Maryland State Police Tpr. P. A. Trossbach responded to a residence on Canvasback Court in Callaway for a reported theft. Investigation revealed on 5/4/04, at 2:45 a.m., an unknown female came to the residence and asked the victim if she could come inside to get warm.
Police report that the victim turned the female down and went back to bed.  At 7:30 a.m., the victim found three of his window screens destroyed and both of his vehicles had been broken into and over $4,000 of work supplies had been removed.  He then observed a truck parked in his driveway with all of his stolen property in the bed of the truck and the female sleeping in the front seat. 

Vickie S. Cahoon, 44, of Callaway, was arrested and charged with theft over $500, malicious destruction of property and rouge/vagabond.   A computer check revealed Ms. Cahoon was also wanted in North Carolina and Mississippi on open warrants.  The stolen property was returned to the owner and Ms. Cahoon was incarcerated in the Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
