Bridge Fixed; SHA Will Pay for Flat Tires

Single lane closings took place on the Solomon's bridge over the weekend with repairs completed today at 5 am.  State Highway spokesman Kelli Boulware said that the workers discovered a second broken expansion joint and repaired that one as well.  Some motorists experienced flat tires from a snapped expansion joint on the lower end of the bridge and can get reimbursed from the state.  The expansion joint was on the lower bridge on the St. Mary's side where the bridge crosses Town Creek.
SHA will pay for your flat tire!  Call the State Insurance Claims Division at 800-942-0162.
