Calvert Cops Catch Liquor Store Burglars
PRINCE FREDERICK ---
On July 12th, 2004 at 11:57 pm., Deputies from the Calvert County Sheriff's Department  responded to Chapline Liquors, located in the Chapline Shopping Center, Prince Frederick, Md. for a report of a breaking and entering in progress.
Sheriff's spokesman Deputy Chip Allen reports that deputies arrived on the scene and determined the front window of the liquor store had been broken.
The shopping center was blocked off and Dfc. Gregory and K-9 "Robby" conducted a search of the area for the suspects. Francis L. Bishop, 19, of Owings, Md. and Ashley M. Howes, 18, of Prince Frederick, were located in a wooded area behind the shopping center. Both were taken into custody and transported the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
Recent burglaries in the area will be checked by police for any connection to the pair.  Hudson's Sunoco was broken into last week by burglars who entered through the roof of the building.
