Police Swat Team Found Drugs, Cash, Gun Under Kid’s Pillow
HUNTINGTOWN — On April 30th, 2004 at 6:40pm, members of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office narcotics unit and the Special Operations Team executed a search warrant at 900 Pat Lane, Huntingtown, Md. The search warrant was issued as a result of a month long undercover investigation. Detectives located a quantity of powder cocaine and U.S. currency. A loaded handgun was also located in a bedroom under pillow of the suspect in this case. Adam Garrett Foster, 17, of Huntingtown, Md. has been arrested and charged as an adult.

ST. LEONARD — On May 4th, 2004 at 9:15am, Dfc. Moschetto conducted a traffic stop in the area of Md. Rt. 4 and Parran Rd. St. Leonard, Md. During the stop the passenger, identified as Dennis L. Warnken, 29, of Greensboro, Md. was observed dropping a non-conventional smoking devise on the floorboard of the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted and along with the non-conventional smoking devise a suspected marijuana cigarette was found in the car. Warnken was placed under arrest for possession of CDS and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
Cokehead Shoved Deputy, Beat Feet
CHESAPEAKE BEACH — On May 4th, 2004 at 4:35pm, Deputy Wilson conducted a traffic stop in the area of Md. Rt 261 and Harbor Rd. Chesapeake Beach, Md. Investigation revealed the passenger of the vehicle gave Deputy Wilson a false name. Deputy Wilson conducted a search of the passenger and located a plastic baggie containing suspected powder cocaine. The suspect, identified as Marvin Timothy Jones, 30, from Hagerstown, Md. pushed Deputy Wilson and ran from the scene. A short chase ensued. Jones was taken into custody and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.

CHESAPEAKE BEACH --- On May 6th, 2004 at 10:31pm, Deputy Wilson conducted a traffic stop on Md. Rt. 261 at Chaney’s Bar. The driver was identified as David E. Lipscomb, 21, of Lothian, Md.; the passenger was identified as Christopher K. Stratton, 19, of Lothian, Md. A search of Lipscomb revealed a baggie containing suspected marijuana and two butterfly knives. A search of the passenger’s side of the vehicle revealed a non-conventional smoking devise containing suspected marijuana. A further search of the vehicle revealed a partially burnt hand rolled marijuana cigarette a pack of rolling papers and a pair of nunchakus. Both vehicle occupants were arrested and charged with possession of CDS and Possession of Concealed Deadly Weapons. They were transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
