Catherine Leah Koehler, 75

Catherine Leah Koehler 75, of Piney Point, MD died August 2, 2004 in Piney Point, MD. Born February 13, 1929 in Piney Point, MD to the late Mary Madeline Russell Bradburn and Charles Bernard Bradburn. She was the loving wife of Harry Michael Koehler, whom she May 3, 1951 married in Our Lady’s Catholic Church in Medleys Neck, Leonardtown, MD. She was the devoted mother of Mike Koehler and his wife Darlene of California, MD and Charlene Koehler Forrest and her husband Sonny of Solomons, MD. She is survived by her sister Mary Agnes Cobbs of Piney Point, MD and 2 grandchildren Jeff Koehler and Julie Koehler. Mrs. Koehler was a lifelong St. Mary’s County resident who graduated from St. Michael’s High School in 1945. The family received friends on Thursday, August 5, 2004 in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated, today, Friday, August 6, 2004 at 10:30 AM in St. George’s Catholic Church with Father Mark Ervin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Greg Thompson, Chuck Charles, Tommy Cobbs, Tim Cobbs, Blair Swann and Charlie Russell. Contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Mary's, P.O. Box 625, Leonardtown, MD 20650 and/or Second District Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad P.O. Box 1, Valley Lee, MD 20692.
