Are the Democrats through making asses of themselves over Cheney winging the lawyer while hunting?  At least he shot a lawyer...and what a favor he did that lawyer, the entire incident proved that this lawyer has a heart!  The Democrats need to take a deep breath, this was simply a hunting accident...
Wild Way to Buy and Sell Drugs?
OAKVILLE --- Police say that the reported slow-rolling hit and run on Kavanaugh Road on Wednesday was likely a business deal gone bad. A report of a Ford truck running over a local entrepreneur in the open air drug market which has flourished for the past 25 years, providing a steady stream of arrests for police as a new generation takes over the chores of running the family drug business, was answered with lights and sirens.  The reported victim was removed from the scene for treatment at a hospital and perhaps FEMA will show up with a relief package of MRE's for his family to store and later sell on the black market.  Politicians who wish to pander to the stricken man's family can simply appear on Kavanaugh Road to pose for press photos with extended family members and talk about a new program which could be introduced in the legislature to run the War on Drugs.  Too bad the bozo didn't get flattened and scooped up by the meat wagon....but life goes on in St. Mary's County, the land of the flask, the fiddle, the dark roasted possum and the open air drug markets.....AND Richard Fritz will for the 14th year, operate his political campaign for States Attorney on the issue of how he will clean up the drug markets and lock up the drug dealers....if you think he has done this since being elected states attorney, vote for him again...if you simply think, you know you should vote for anyone running against him.  Where is Christy Chesser?  Is she too good for the job and simply wants to run for Judge where she can be above it all, as some say she feels?  If so, we probably should have someone else as Judge. If not, let her get off her duff and go back to the States Attorneys Office where she ran it for Walter Dorsey...what about the Republican branding of the term "family values"....it seems that the GOP likely candidate, who is Hambone's candidate to run against John Bohanan is an unwed mother...."Ma, Ma, where's my pa?" might be the refrain coming from the baby carriage on the GOP side of the aisle if she wins...ya gotta hand it to those Republicans to be so open minded...in fact, she lives in Johnny Wood's district but this politics business is so confusing to the GOP. 
Merle Evans is likely to file or announce he will file for the Democratic Party primary for St. Mary's Commissioner President next week...he is out on the hustings each day, with him and Mike Hewitt, Democrats have two fiscal conservatives to choose from, along with the eccentric Jackie Russell from St. George's Island...Democrats have gotten the message to field more moderate and conservative candidates in St. Mary's County...Joe "Fidel" Anderson has come out to run for commissioner three times, won once when he ran against Crazy Paul Chesser, which is like being compared to a non-working barber pole, as to which is brighter and runs faster, and losing to Chris Brugman (remember him?) in 1994 and to Kenny Dement (I might be dumb but I ain't no commie) in 2002.   Hambone is lining up his 'ticket' for this year and we can't wait to get all the characters lined up right so people will know which ones to target for political extinction....St. Mary's has had enough heavy-handed power seizing by Little Lord Faunteroy, the unelected county executive who usurps the power of the board.
