Christmas Eve Murder in Nation's Capital

At approximately 5:50 am, on Friday December 24, 2004, Metropolitan Police report that they were called to the 3000 block of Massachusetts Avenue, SE, for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, police located 56-year-old Randolph Moses, of the 700 block of 31st Street, SE, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body. He was transported to the Prince George’s Hospital Center and pronounced dead at 6:45 am.

The case is under investigation by members of the department’s Violent Crimes Branch. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099.

The department offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
