Cops Nab Another Burglar Gang Member Wanted for Murder of Indian Head Woman

De’Angelo Wayne McNeil, the suspect in a Charles County Sheriff’s Office investigation of a burglary that resulted in a homicide on July 14, was arrested on September 21. The Charles County Sheriff’s Office and the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force developed a lead that led to the arrest.

McNeil was arrested by a Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) officer in the 2200 block of 13th Street Northeast Washington, D.C. at approximately 7:30 p.m. When the MPD responded to the area, McNeil, fled but he was apprehended shortly thereafter. He was charged with being a fugitive from justice and is being held in Washington, D.C., pending extradition to Charles County, where he will be served the warrant that charges him with two counts of First Degree Murder, Second Degree Burglary and other charges related from the incident.

The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its search for Derrick Delonta Scott, 18, and Tayron Marquel Hamm, 17, both of Washington, D.C.
