DIVER AIRLIFTED TO HOSPITAL
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.-- A man was airlifted off of a boat July 11th 78-miles off the coast of Manasquan, N.J.
Jay Temple, 37, from Toms River, N.J., was medevaced off of the Independence, a 37-foot scalloper homeported in Manasquan, N.J., suffering from wrist, arm and shoulder pains after a diving excursion.
Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City responded with a rescue helicopter and took Temple to Jacobi Medical Center in Bronx, NY., where he was placed in a hyperbaric chamber.
