Dobry A Fine Man of Good Character

To the Editor:

In my 29 years as a former resident of St. Mary’s County, including 14 years as a political activist, it was my honor to be associated with a few good men who were dedicated to opposing political corruption and establishing an open, honest county government.  Sadly, despite their best efforts, that goal still remains unfulfilled.  Jim Dobry was one of those men.  I am saddened to learn of his passing, but proud to have known him.  He should be remembered as a public-spirited man of good character, which sets him apart from most.
