Douglas Wayne Abell

Douglas Wayne Abell, 47, of Valley Lee, MD, died on April 28, 2005 in Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, DC.

Born on June 12, 1957 in Leonardtown, MD, he was the son of the late Philip Brown Abell and Betty Sue Page Abell. Mr. Abell had worked for the Seafarer's International Union School of Seamanship at Piney Point.

He is survived by a brother, Steven C. Abell of Valley Lee, MD.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 6, 2005 from 12 Noon until 1:00 p.m. in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. in Leonardtown, MD. A Graveside Service will be conducted on Friday, May 6, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. in the St. George’s Episcopal Church Cemetery, Valley Lee, MD. The Reverend Albie Hazen will conduct the service.
