Drugs in every pocket
MECHANICSVILLE --- On 1/7/05, at 11:07 p.m., Tpr. P. A. Trossbach initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at Route 5 at Old Lockes Hill Road in Mechanicsville for a traffic violation. A check of the driver, Angelo Cornelius Pickeral, 44, of Mechanicsville revealed his Maryland license was suspended. Mr. Pickeral was placed under arrest for driving while suspended. An officer safety check of the passenger revealed suspected marijuana in the front pants pocket of Michael David Walther, 18, of Mechanicsville. Search incident to arrest revealed a plastic baggie containing suspected crack cocaine and a plastic baggie containing suspected cocaine in Mr. Walthers shoe. Walther was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of CDS paraphernalia. Walther was transported to the St. Marys County Detention Center pending a bond review
