Edward Joseph Gunde, Sr.
U.S. Army Air Force WWII Veteran
 

Edward Joseph Gunde, 89, of Accokeek, MD died January 2, 2005 at his residence.

Born on June 7, 1915 of the late Agnes & Joseph Gunde.

Mr. Gunde served his country in the United States Air Force and retired as Master Sgt. after 30 years of service. Father was most proud of never having lost a man under his command in the European campaigns of World War II.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Bly Gunde, of Accokeek, MD., His brother Joseph A. Gunde, of Bowie, MD., His daughter Margaret Gunde, of Edgerton, KS. , His son Edward Gunde, of Mechanicsville, MD., Four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren

Family and Friends are welcome to attend the graveside service on Friday January 21, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Arlington National Cemetery located in Arlington, Virginia.
