Elaine Van Haveren Nigra

Elaine Van Haveren Nigra, 80, of Solomons, MD, died on Monday, January 3, 2005 at Calvert Memorial Hospital, Prince Frederick, MD.

Born on August 19, 1924 in Sheboygan, WI, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Christina Vreeke Van Haveren. Mrs. Nigra served her country in the U.S. Navy from 1944 until 1946. She was a homemaker

She is survived by two daughters, Karen McKinney of Vienna, VA and Christine Allen of Huntingtown, MD, one son, Marty Reed of Poolesville, MD, Five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a brother, Thomas Van Haveren of Sheboygan, WI.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. in Leonardtown, MD on Thursday, January 6, 2005. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. in the Brinsfield Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Sheldon Reese will conduct the service. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.
