Eloise Clarice Carpenter, 85, of St. Inigoes, MD, died on Saturday, April 17, 2004 at her residence.

Born on August 16, 1918 in New England, WV, she was the daughter of the late William P. and Delia Clarice Moore Dugan.

Mrs. Carpenter worked at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station as a budget analyst retiring in 1980. She was an avid bowler.

She is survived by her husband, Emmett, W. Carpenter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Alice Wright, and two brothers, Charles and Lawrence Dugan.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 21, 2004 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Leavitt Funeral Services, 403 Seventh Street, Parkersburg, WV. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2004 at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg, WV.
