Emma Connelly Norris, 88, of Leonardtown, MD, died on Thursday, June 10, 2004 at Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC.

Born on October 3, 1915 in Leonardtown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ford and Della Reed Ching Connelly. Mrs. Norris was a homemaker.

She is survived by her son, Norman A. Norris of Leonardtown, MD, a grandson, Al Norris of Danville, CA, two great grandchildren, Caroline Robinson Keller and Courtney Elizabeth Keller, two sisters, Gladys Ann Wood of Leonardtown, MD, Jeannette Dakis of Leonardtown, MD and a brother, Joseph F. Connelly of Brandywine, MD and a half sister, Adele Feeney. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Norman Aloysius Norris, a granddaughter, Robin Norris Keller, three sisters, Virginia Connelly Lee, Mamie Connelly, Betsy R. Connelly Thompson, three brothers, William Ford Connelly, Jr., James F. Connelly, George W. Connelly, a half sister, Beatrice Landis and a half brother, Javis Abbott.

The family received friends on Monday, June 14, 2004 at the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. in Leonardtown, MD. A Funeral Service was conducted on Tuesday, June 15, 2004 in the Brinsfield Funeral Home chapel. The Reverend Paula Halliday conducted the service. Interment followed in St. John’s Church Cemetery in Hollywood, MD.

Serving as pallbearers were Al Norris, Charlie Keller, Ronald Wood , Gene Wood, George Norris and Martin Connelly.
