Fearsome Dogs Were Nice, Not Naughty
To the Editor:
I was there at the house fire when the dogs were put in the animal
control van. Neither of them were the "fearsome fourlegged canine" as
you state. misinformation again from St. Mary's Today. Why not try the
truth and facts instead of sensationalism all the time? The animal
control officers said the dogs were nice dogs. Why didn't you report
that? One of the firefighters volunteered to take care of the dogs until
the owners were able to find housing again. Why didn't you report that?
Oh, "fourlegged" is two words.
Regards,
John Griffiths
(Editor's Note:
John;
Don't be such an idiot. This photo clearly shows that the officers didn't
believe for one second that these were "nice dogs" as they were keeping the
dog at the end of a stick and taking control of the animal in order to avoid
injury to themselves and others. Perhaps you were there, as everyone has to
be somewhere, but you must not believe your lying eyes.
Note that one deputy is preparing to pull his gun from his holster, or was that
simply a bone he was going to throw to Fido?
This is an order. Stop reading this Rag as such dumb readers as you are an
embarrassment. And don't try to show off that you have spell check. Spell
this: Go away.)
