Francis Vernon Ridgell, 73
Francis Vernon Ridgell, 73 of of St. Inigoes, MD, died on Thursday,
September 2, 2004 at his residence.
Born on May 6, 1931 in St. Inigoes, MD, he was the son of the late Frank and Viola Green
Ridgell.
A life long resident, of St. Mary’s County, Mr. Ridgell was a farmer in the county.
He was of the Catholic Faith.
He is survived by a sister, Peggy Bradburn of Ridge, MD. In addition to his parents he was
preceded in death by two brothers, Andrew Ridgell and Frank Ridgell, Jr. one sister
Elizabeth Woodburn also preceded him in death.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, September 7, 2004 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the St.
Michael’s Catholic Church, Ridge, MD. Prayers will be recited at 7:00 pm. A Mass of
Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at St.
Michael’s Catholic Church. The Reverend Maurice O’Connell will be the celebrant.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
