Fred Harlow Clark, Jr Fred Harlow Clark, Jr., 82, passed from this life on Friday, July 2, 2004, at St. Mary’s Nursing Home, Leonardtown, MD. Fred was born on March 26, 1922 in Baltimore, MD. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Fred H. Clark and his mother, Mary Waddell Clark of Gwen Oak Avenue, Baltimore. He is survived by his brother, Myrick C. Clark and a sister-in-law, Mary Clark, and brother, John Clark of Leonardtown, MD. Fred is also survived by five nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and nephews and a great-great niece. Fred was cared for many years by the ARC of Southern Maryland at the Red Gate Group Home in Leonardtown. The staff at Red Gate are to be commended for their outstanding care of Fred. Fred was severely disabled due to complications from birth. The Red Gate staff and services provided by the ARC of Southern Maryland gave rich meaning and joy to his life for which the family is extremely grateful. A graveside service is planned for Friday, July 9, 2004 at Lorraine Cemetery in Baltimore, MD in the family plot.
