POSSESSION OF CDS: 09/28/04 2:20 p.m. Maryland
State Police report that a vehicle traveling southbound
on U.S. Rt. 301, north of Stagecoach Road, was stopped for a traffic
violation. Police say that the driver gave a false name and the passenger, Nichole
Eileen Kunkin, 31, of Bowie, was wanted through Prince George's
County for failure to appear for vehicle manslaughter. A search
incident to arrested revealed suspected marijuana, laced mushrooms and
drug paraphernalia. After learning the driver 's true name, Paul
Nicolas Patopie, 27, of Bowie, a computer check revealed he was
wanted through Calvert County for failure to appear for violation of
probation. They were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana,
possession of laced mushrooms, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Patopie was held on $5000.00 bond. Kunkin was held on $3000.00
