George Lester Carroll, 54 of St. Inigoes, MD died on Monday, December 6, 2004 at the Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC.

Born on September 2, 1950 in Leonardtown, MD. He was the son of the late Bernard and Edna Ridgell Carroll.

Mr. Carroll was a life long resident of St. Mary’s County. He enjoyed the water, fishing and crabbing. He also enjoyed RVing spending a lot of his time in Baja, Mexico.

He is survived by seven brothers, Phil, Lee, Larry, John, Tim, Ted, and Walter, five sisters, Jeannette, Ada, Teresa, Marjorie and Marian. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Alan and David.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2004 at 10:00 am at St. Cecelia’s Catholic Church, St. Mary’s City, MD. The Reverend Damian Shadwell will be the celebrant. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1032, Lexington Park, MD 20653.
