Gladys Irene Plauger
Gladys Irene Plauger of Mechanicsville, Maryland, formerly of Clinton, Maryland died on Friday, July 23, 2004 at her home. She was 81 years old.

Born November 11, 1922 in Clinton, Maryland to the late Jessie Mae Snoots and Warren Mullikin. She was a homemaker and mom who loved to sew, to cook and make quilts. Mrs. Plauger was a life long member of Christ Episcopal Church in Clinton, Maryland. She was known by all as "Grandma".

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Plauger was preceded in death by her husband William and great granddaughter Traci.

She is survived by her daughters Virginia Tayman, Dorothy Corder and Kay Jett; sister Linda Stone; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; numerous relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends on Monday, July 26, 2004 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. 30195 Three Notch Road Charlotte Hall, Maryland where Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2004 with the Reverend E. Ken Booth officiating. Interment to follow at Christ Episcopal Church Cemetery in Clinton, Maryland.
